Joomla - How to get rid of Email/Print/PDF icons PDF  | Print |  E-mail
In a Joomla! category view that lists articles you sometimes see PDF/Print/E-mail icons which are not necessary until you go to the full article. How to get rid of them

  • Goto the Menu Manager and click on the menu (or submenu) that controls the category in question.
  • From the Parameters (Components) section on the right scroll down to the Show Icons and Show PDF sections etc and choose hide for each.
  • If you want these icons to show only for the full article, go to the Article Manager, choose the article in question and from the Parameters (Advanced) section for the article choose Show for Icons/PDF/Print and E-mail
